CP Yang joined Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide/Beijing in 2006 after spending the previous 13 years with Ogilvy PR in Taiwan.
As managing partner of Ogilvy PR/Beijing, CP works with the President of Ogilvy PR North Asia in managing corporate issues and major accounts.
With over 17 years of experience in issues and crisis management, multinational corporate communications, regional account counseling, and B2B communications, CP is currently regional director of one of Ogilvy PR’s biggest multinational accounts integrating public relations, direct marketing, and advertising expertise.
Prior to her transfer, CP was the general manager of Ogilvy PR/Taiwan and a member of the management board for Ogilvy Group in Taiwan. She led Corporate BU, Finance and Technology Practices, and oversaw personnel development, general administration, financial performance, and human resources.
Before that, she was a regional director of a multinational client in charge of the communication counseling and advice for seven countries in the Asia Pacific region for 6 years.
CP has worked with a wide range of clients over the years including Intel, UBS, Nokia, Scottish Development International, Arianespace, National Semiconductor, TAIPEI 101, UPS, Trade Card, BEA, Hitachi Data System, Dupont, H&H, Western Union, Infineon, Autodesk, GECF, Philips, Standard Chartered Bank, Deloitte Consulting, Dow Chemical, Barclays Bank, Shell, Castrol, Lehman Brothers, Asian Wall Street Journal, American Express, Clerical Medial Insurance, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, ABB-CE, Chlorine Chemical Council, Warburg Pincus, and Franklin Templeton.
CP holds a master’s degree from the City University of New York.
