  1. I prefer this definition than the “De facto independent country” or “PRC Province’.

    Officialy (according to the KMT status, available on their website), Taiwan is still a province of the ROC

  2. Someone should check the other places in dispute, like Kashmir.

  3. Well, not Google really, but the Princeton Wordnet database. Seems there’s a bit of a glitch though. Google doesn’t have the same info as the Wordnet page, since that clarifies it (ie. China, as in Taiwan is ‘officially’ called Republic of China).
